What Pinterest hides, and where

In the grid a pin is its image and, at most, its title - the description is not shown at all until someone opens the pin. Pinterest recommends a 2:3 image (1000x1500) and crops other shapes in the feed, so a wide graphic loses its edges and a very tall one its bottom. The title and the first frame of the image are the whole pitch.
