Shapeless Directory terms

1. What these terms cover

These terms govern a listing on the Shapeless Directory at shapelessai.com/ai-tools: submitting a tool, the badge, the links, and the email we send about the listing. They apply whether a person submits through the form or an agent submits through the API or the MCP endpoint on their behalf.

A listing is not an account and not use of the ShapelessAI service. The Terms of Service at shapelessai.com/terms, including the licence in its section 4 over agent inputs and generated outputs, do not apply to a directory submission. Only the sections below do.

2. What you send and what we do with it

You send public facts about a product you are entitled to represent: its name, homepage, what it does, what it costs, which agent surfaces it publishes, and an email address for the listing.

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show those facts, the product's name and logo, on the directory's pages, in its feeds, JSON, llms.txt and MCP answers, and to edit them for accuracy and length. We write nothing your own pages do not say, and we may cut a claim we cannot find there.

The email address is used for mail about the listing: receipt, going live, badge and correction notices. It is never shown on a page, never sold, and never added to a marketing list.

3. Review, the badge and the links

A person reads every submission and opens the site before the listing goes live, usually within a few days. We may decline a listing, or remove one, for any reason, and we say so by email.

Listing is free and stays free. Put the "Featured on ShapelessAI" badge on your homepage or in your footer, and your listing is marked Verified and links to your site with a plain, followed link. Take the badge down and, after 14 days, the link turns nofollow and the Verified mark goes; the listing itself stays. Nobody pays for a link here, and nothing is sold that changes how a link is marked.

The badge is an image or text link to your own listing page, served from our domain. The snippet we give you carries no nofollow; you may add rel="nofollow" and keep the listing and every benefit except the plain link back. A badge counts when it is in the HTML the server sends for your homepage; we read listed homepages nightly and on request. We never ask for a link anywhere else and never pay for one.

Tools that sell what ShapelessAI sells are listed like every other tool, marked as competitors, and linked with nofollow unless the badge is up; the badge earns them the same followed link.

4. Your side

You confirm the product is live, the facts are true, and you may represent it. You may edit the listing while it waits for review with the claim token from your receipt, and ask for corrections or removal at any time by writing to hello@shapelessai.com from the listing's email address. Removal takes effect within seven days.

The claim token is the only credential for the listing. Keep it private; a request that carries it is treated as yours.

5. Numbers, changes and liability

Per-listing views, clicks to your site and agent reads are counted without cookies and shown to you with the claim token; the directory's totals are public. We do not promise any ranking, traffic, or effect on search engines, and a listing can be demoted, moved or removed when the directory changes.

We may update these terms; the date at the top is the version in force, and a change that narrows what you get is emailed to every listed address 14 days before it applies. Where these terms are silent, sections 8, 9 and 11 of the Terms of Service (disclaimers, disputes, contact) apply.
