Yes. There is no login and no upload: it runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you type or attach leaves your device.
Does the preview match what Instagram actually shows?
It is the same chrome our studio uses before a post publishes: Instagram's current header layout, action row and media grid, in either of Instagram's themes. Engagement numbers are decorative, as in every scheduler's preview.
Where does Instagram cut the post off with "… more"?
Instagram shows 2 lines in the feed, then "… more". Reported at about 125 characters on desktop and 125 on a phone - the same 2 lines at two widths. No platform publishes that threshold, so the preview measures its own clamp at the width you are viewing instead of trusting a character count - switch it between desktop and phone and watch the fold move.
