AI tools for agents and automation with an MCP server

Questions

What does a listing cost, and what does the badge earn?
Listing is free and stays free. A person reads your site; once approved, the listing goes live the first time we see the "Featured on ShapelessAI" badge on your homepage or in your footer, marked Verified and linking to your site with a plain, followed link. Take the badge down and, after 14 days, the link turns nofollow and the Verified mark goes; the listing itself stays. Nobody pays for a link here, and nothing is sold that changes how a link is marked.
Is the link to my site followed?
Yes, while the badge is on your homepage. An approved listing goes live the first time our read sees the badge, and from then the link from your listing page to your site carries no nofollow; the Verified mark on your row says so. The badge's words name ShapelessAI as real text, so a reader can find it on your page. The badge itself ships without nofollow; add one if you prefer, and you keep the listing and everything but the plain link back. The whole arrangement is at /ai-tools/terms.
What does agent-native mean here?
That an AI agent can use the tool without a person clicking through its screens: it publishes an MCP server, a documented HTTP API or a CLI, or it works inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, VS Code, Gemini CLI or another agent host. Each row says which of those it has, and the works-with pages group tools by it.
How does a tool get on the list, and what is refused?
Two ways. We add tools we have used or researched ourselves, and makers submit their own, free: paste a URL and we draft the listing, or hand one line to your agent and it does the whole thing, badge included. Every submission is read by a person who opens the site; a listing is never generated, and nothing is written that the maker's own pages do not say. Any real software tool with a site of its own, AI or not: marketing is one section of twelve, next to writing, images, video, code, agents, productivity, sales, data, education, business and lifestyle. We refuse products that sell links, link exchanges or backlink packages; simulated activity sold as real engagement (fake participants, bought reviews); tools for cheating (essay and plagiarism-detector evasion); adult content, gambling, crypto token launches; malware, phishing, impersonation; placeholder, parked or unreachable sites, and sites not in English; directories of directories (a list of lists is a link farm).
Is ShapelessAI on the list?
Yes, as one row among the others, and it says so. This directory is a map of the tools our own agents sit next to; we would rather you find the right one than the nearest one. Tools that sell what we sell are listed like every other tool and marked as competitors.
How current is it?
Each listing shows the date we last read the maker's site, and the table says when it last changed. If something has gone stale, the maker's own page is the authority, and an email to us fixes the listing.
Can an agent read this directory?
Yes. The same rows are at /ai-tools/llms.txt as one line per tool, at /api/ai-tools as JSON, and as MCP tools on a keyless endpoint at /mcp/ai-tools; the directory's own numbers are public at /api/ai-tools/stats. Every listing page carries SoftwareApplication structured data.
